As a travel enthusiast and someone who loves diving into vibrant cultures, my recent stay at Eden Palace in Yangon brought mixed feelings. This hotel strikes an interesting balance between luxury and value, particularly considering its competitive pricing in the area. The breakfast is a notable highlight, offering a variety of options that cater to diverse palates. The staff were energetic and genuinely helpful, which added a personal touch to our stay. Although the rooms are in dire need of renovation, they remain functional, equipped with air conditioning, a mini-bar, and essential amenities like an electric kettle. The location may not be the prime spot in Yangon, but you can easily hop into a taxi for around 2000 kyat to reach the city center. Cleanliness was satisfactory, and while I could nitpick about decor, I found it to be adequate for a business trip. If decor is a deal-breaker for you, adjust your expectations. Eden Palace offers reasonable value for those looking for basic comfort amid their adventures in Yangon. Enjoy your trip!
